   BIO:

Andy Northrup (Mac): Andy is an actor/composer who has been active in the Edmonton film and theatre community for a number of years. He has written five musicals for the stage in collaboration with various composers and playwrights such as Gerald Osborn, Marty Chan, and Allan Gilliland. He has also tread the boards in a number of productions some of which include Mark Henderson's production of Pentecost for Studio Theatre, Amy Defilice's productions of The Dark Wood for Theatre Network's NextFest and A Poster of the Cosmos for Stagestruck 2005 (winner - Best Direction and Best Actor) with a remount of this production for Image Theatre's 2006 Mainstage season. In addition to originating the role of Mac in Spring Alibi for Edmonton's 2005 Fringe Festival and remounting the show for Washington DC's Fringe in 2006, past Fringe credits include The Devil and Billy Markham, Ha!, and Toying With Dinky. Film credits include Ben Babchishin's trio of short films including the 2004 AMPIA winner A Gun, A Cigar and A Bottle of Scotch for which Northrup received a Best Actor nomination. Northrup is also a singer/songwriter with two critically acclaimed albums to his credit - (2001's "Slow Burn Avenue" and 2005's "Cardboard Logic") both of which have received international airplay and attention, and both of which will be available at the end of the show.
