BIO:
Sue Huff (Marlene): Sue is thrilled to be returning to the role of Marlene and sharing the stage once again with Andy. After a sold-out run of Spring Alibi at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, Sue went on to perform at Theatre Network in The Leisure Society. These two plays marked Sue's official return to theatre after an eleven-year hiatus. During that time, she had been working primarily as a radio and television writer. Sue was the co-creator and award-winning writer of the LIFE Channel series, Who's On Top? She also wrote and performed a one-woman show called Pushing Up Daisies for Workshop West Theatre's Kaboom Festival and appeared in Dave Thomas's feature film, Intern Academy. A firm believer in "taking matters into her own hands," Sue recently added directing and filmmaking to her repertoire. Her first film, called Kids Talkin' About Death, was produced by the National Film Board and received several commendations and awards. She just completed a short documentary on the life of a man with developmental disabilities and has several new projects in development, including a children's book. She will be appearing in Cherish at Northern Light Theatre next season. Sue lives in Edmonton with her two children and one (very supportive) husband.
