Linda Wood Edwards

   BIO - Linda Wood Edwards

Linda is really starting to enjoy this playwriting gig. Linda's first play Spring Alibi appeared at the 2005 Edmonton Fringe Festival and garnered a Sterling Award nomination for Best New Fringe Work. From there Spring Alibi was invited to the 2006 Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC and the 2007 Nakai Comedy Arts Festival in Whitehorse, Yukon. At the 2007 Fringe, Linda's homage to football fans True Grid also sold out. Linda also wrote Beans and Rice for young audiences and has stage managed Gerald Osborn's Family Squabbles in 2007, Scrap Paper in 2008, and provincial One-Act winner Gossamer Feast in 2009. When she's not writing or going to CFL games, Linda is a governance and bylaw specialist for industry and professional associations. She is grateful for her Twisted Sisters, anyone who has ever served breakfast to them, and everyone associated with Support Ho's.
