Linda Wood Edwards    BIO- Linda Wood Edwards

Linda Wood Edwards, Playwright, Stage Manager, Producer: Linda was born into a football family and married a football guy. She counts herself lucky on both fronts. Linda's first play Spring Alibi appeared at the 2005 Edmonton Fringe Festival and garnered a Sterling Award nomination for Best New Fringe Work. From there Spring Alibi was invited to the 2006 Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC and the 2007 Nakai Comedy Arts Festival in Whitehorse, Yukon. At the 2007 Fringe, Linda’s homage to football fans True Grid also sold out. Linda wrote Beans and Rice for young audiences and has stage managed Gerald Osborn's Family Squabbles in ‘07, Scrap Paper in ’08, Gossamer Feast in ’09, and Ravenous in ‘10. For the 2009 Fringe, Linda wrote Support Ho’s which also drew terrific audiences. When not writing or going to CFL games, Linda is a governance and bylaw specialist for associations. She is grateful for everyone and everything associated with True Grid.
